The estimated max, every lift, every client

Is this still the right weight?

Programmes are written in percentages of a one rep max, and that max moves — because the coaching worked. Eight weeks on, a client can be 5 to 10% stronger than the number their programme is still asking for. They train too light, and nobody looks, because the programme was right when it was written.

Estimates use Brzycki from 2 to 8 reps, where it is validated, and Epley at 9 and 10, where it is more accurate. Above ten reps the system refuses to estimate at all rather than print a confident number off a set of fifteen. Every client, lift and figure here is invented; the formulas and thresholds are researched.
